Flying to Lübeck:

Fly with Ryanair from London-Standsted, Dublin, Milano-Bergamo, Pisa, Gerona or Stockholm-Skavsta to Lübeck-Blankensee directly!

From October 26th 2008 you can go from Lübeck-Blankensee to Frankfurt-Hahn also.

From Lübeck's Airport:

You can take bus line number 6 from the airport to the centre and back. The bus leaves every 20 minutes. For more information: www.stadtverkehr-luebeck.de. Or you take the train. If you are arriving by air at the Hamburg Airport, the "Traveliner" bus is a fast, comfortable and cheap way to getting from Hamburg Airport straight to Lübeck.

 

By rail / bus:

Travel to Lübeck by rail at especially low rates. The prices are valid only when booking a basic package. Holders of BahnCard tickets travel for even less. All prices include ICE, EC or IC surcharges and seat reservation. Children under the age of 12 get a 50% discount on the applicable rate. For information about the train see www.bahn.de.

From Lübeck central station it is just a 10 minutes walk to the Old Town. Otherwise the busses No. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 19, 30, 31 and 40 take you to the Old Town (direction city centre).

 

By car:

Our leading system guides you to the 5.000 parking lots near to the Old Town. We recommend you to choose the day ticket (€5.00/ 24 hours) for a relaxed shopping day. Please pay attention to the "TT" symbol at the ticket machines.
Tip: Park your car at our free Park&Ride-station “Lohmühle”: The Christmas shuttle-bus takes you to the Christmas markets for free.

Parking and Saving:

Many shops reimburse your expenses for the parking ticket. Please pay attention to this symbol:

The Parking garages "Am Holstentor" and "Pferdemarkt" are opened for 24 hours.

If you are visiting on a short 24-hour trip, it's a good idea to purchase a day ticket (Tagesticket). The ticket allows you to park 24 hours for just € 5,-. Look for the TT symbol on the parking metre. An if you're interested in a staying in Lübeck for a longer period, we recommend parking your car in the tourist parkade in Falkenstraße (€20,-/week).

Overland busses:

Parking spaces at Lindenplatz/Werner-Kock-Straße (only on Saturdays during the Advent season) and at the Music and Congress Centre.

Sleep well in Lübeck and Travemünde!

We book your room in one of the hotels and pensions or a private apartment for your stay! Even if the hotels are booked up the city centre of Lübeck we surly find a place for you in Travemünde. This part of Lübeck is situated directly at the seaside and is highly recommended for wintertime. Besides: You can reach the city centre of Lübeck from Travemünde with public transport in only 20 minutes.
